Dr. Erica C. Faith
Dr. Faith started working in the veterinary field in 1989 and has over 31 years of veterinary related experience. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Calvin College in 1991 before receiving her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University in 1996
She worked in the Detroit Metro Area for 7 years at a large 14 doctor veterinary association before deciding to move to the West side of the state in 2003. She worked at several small animal clinics in Muskegon, Zeeland, and Jenison before opening Faith Animal Care in Roosevelt Park in 2009.
She has a special interest in soft tissue surgery, internal medicine and feline medicine. Dr. Faith enjoys spending time with her husband, Scott, and their two children, Elijah and Michaela. She is the pet parent of a Vizsla, as well as a Boxer Mix. She also has three lovely cats named Aragorn, Gwenevere, and Luther.
Karen M.
Veterinary Technician
Karen graduated from Baker College with a degree in Veterinary Technology. She started out after school working in shelter medicine and then joined Faith Animal Care in September 2020. When she isn’t working, she enjoys spending time outdoors, either biking or hiking. Also spending time with her husband, 2 amazing kids, and her Border Collies Sadie and Toby!
Sammy B.
Veterinary Assistant
Sammy grew up in Muskegon before attending Michigan State University. There she received her degree in Zoology and spent some time working at zoos. Her passion for animal care then led her to the veterinary field where she enjoys caring for all animals. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family as well as her cat Ruby and her dog Roxy.
Brooke S.
Veterinary Technician
Brooke grew up in Fremont MI, she graduated from Baker College of Muskegon Veterinary Technology Program in 2013. Brooke now lives in Ravenna with husband Jimmy and son Noah. At home Brooke has a Golden Retriever named Elliot and Jack Russell mix named Cara. Brooke also has 2 cats Nemo and Toby along with small hobby farm of chickens. In Brooke’s free time she enjoys playing videogames, watching anime, camping, hiking, raising chickens, fishing, and swimming.

Veterinary Technologist
Amy graduated from MSU as a Veterinary Technologist. She has been in the field for 20 years. Amy has been married for 25 years and they have two awesome kids. She also has a Golden Retriever named Archie and a cat named Mr. Whiskers. Amy really loves working at Faith Animal Care and she’s sure you’ll love it here too!
Emily M.
Veterinary Assistant
Emily grew up in Hartford, MI and has just moved to North Muskegon. Growing up around many different animals has built the background for helping animals. She attended Ross Medical Center in 2017/2018 for a certification as a Veterinary Assistant. In her time off, she enjoys camping, kayaking, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. Emily is hoping one day to get into large animal medicine.
Dr. Paul Sedlacek
DVM
Dr. Sedlacek graduated from Michigan State University in 1984, then started working for Benson Animal Hospital in Lansing, MI. Subsequently, Dr. Sedlacek was the owner and operator of the Animal Clinic of Morris Plains in NJ for over 30 years. Dr. Sedlacek has a strong interests and years of experience in avian and exotic animal medicine, along with small animal medicine and surgery. Has affiliation with American Veterinary Medical Association, Association of Avian Veterinarians, and Association of Exotic Mammal Veterinarians. He is originally from New Jersey and now has moved to Michigan to be with his grandchildren. Dr. Sedlacek and his wife Christine have five children and six grandchildren, and a cat names Nairobi. In his free time, Dr.Sedlacek likes to stay active, enjoys playing tennis, going to the gym, hiking and traveling with family.
